In an effort to make his base foam at the mouth, Trump is expected to sign another Executive Order today. The one I’m referring to addresses his campaign promise to ban refugees and visitors from Muslim countries. Trump has long maintained the racist theory that all Muslims are dangerous and should not be allowed into the United States for fear that they will commit terrorist acts.
Or at least that’s what he tells his cult-like following.
But as usual with Trump, he is not being honest with his sheeple. When you as an American think of terrorists, what comes to mind first? For most of us that would be 9/11. It was the largest, most terrifying attack on U.S. soil in recent memory. And where did those terrorists come from? What were their nationalities? Saudi Arabia (15), United Arab Emirates (2), Egypt (1) and Lebanon (1).
According to the draft, the Executive Order will ban refugees and visitors from Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Iran, Libya and Sudan. That’s right! None from 9/11 are on his list. Let me repeat that. None of the countries where the 9/11 terrorists are from are on Trump’s ban. In fact there are quite a few Muslim countries that are not on that list.
Why you ask?
The countries on the ban list have one thing in common as do the ones left off. Trump has businesses in one group and none in the other. Care to guess which is which?
As you probably surmised, Trump has no businesses in the countries included in the ban. Trump does however have businesses in Turkey (2), Qatar (4), Egypt (2), Azerbaijan (6), United Arab Emirates (12) and Saudi Arabia (8). 1 None of these countries are on the ban list because this would adversely affect his business relationships in those nations. These countries would rightly take offense to such nonsense. An immediate retaliation would be to cut Trump’s contract and stop paying him millions.
Now I’m not one to judge a whole race, religion or nation on the acts of a few of its citizens. After all, there are quite a few Americans that have committed heinous acts of terrorism too. I don’t even agree with the concept of this ridiculous ban. There’s nothing in it that would protect us even if I did. But Trump is that type of person. So why would he omit some countries versus others? This question should be asked by the Press especially when you consider that he conveniently omitted the 9/11 countries.
Once again, Trump is looking out for himself and his business interests. He is blatantly using his position as president to benefit himself and his family financially.
At what point does enough become enough with this corrupt administration?
